Personal Statement
Everyone wants to become the best. But I choose to become better. Because simply being the best, doesn't cut it for me. I want to continually improve myself, not just in Water Polo but in all aspects of life.
When I was first introduced into Water Polo, it was my freshman year in high school. Down in the very south of Texas, Water Polo wasn't heard of, so naturally I was curious, my swim coach brought it up to the swim team, as something to do after the season, and we all played not knowing of the bigger aspects of the game until we played at UT Austin for a tournament.
