Cole Faux '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cole Faux and I am currently a senior at Tom C Clark High School in San Antonio.  I have been a swimmer and soccer player all through my youth,  but once introduced to waterpolo I knew I had found my place.  I started as a goalie for our varsity high school team, but quickly began to develop skills on the field and this season I played 2M and wing on the 1/2 side.  My strengths come from my drive, determination, sportsmanship, and love of the game.  I am a leader in the pool and always bring a positive attitude to practice and competitions.  I continue to influence my team to play with a love of the game and an appreciation of the athleticism it takes to excel in water polo.  I am early to practice, arrive with the goal to better myself, and consistently give it 100 percent.   Academically I strive to continue to be near the top of my class and challenge myself with advanced and college classes.  I seek a top academic college which will provide me a strong foundation that I can use to fuel my ultimate goal of sports medicine.  Even though I began my time in the water as a goalie, I believe it has given me a perspective few field players have, giving me an advantage of reading the movement of the goalie and how to counter effectively.
