Corinne Querrey '16 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been my passion ever since the age of six. Currently I am a Varsity Girls Basketball player at Cactus Shadows High School and a three-time captain so far. I look to pursue my basketball career in college and am striving for an athletic and or academic scholarship. School comes first and my grades are the number one priority. I am a three-sport athlete who has been playing Varsity since freshman year. I play volleyball in the fall, basketball in the winter and compete in track/field in the spring. My collegiate academic goal is pre-medicine with the intention of becoming a physical therapist or doctor. Participation in athletics allows me to challenge myself outside the classroom and pursue my goals of becoming a successful student-athlete. There is a difference between a girl who just plays basketball, and a basketball player. I consider myself a basketball player and am committed to do whatever it takes to get to the next level.
