Mattielynne Droeg '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Mattielynne Micah Droeg but I would prefer to be called "Mattie". I am a 15 year old, 5'8"player, and I have experience with all positions on the court. I have a strong passion for basketball and a drive to constantly improve my skills on the court. I am committed to putting in the necessary work, both during practices and in my personal training, to enhance my abilities and contribute to the success of the team. I’m a big team player and love to see the success of my teammates. Currently I play club basketball and varsity high school basketball . I just wrapped up my freshman season where my team made it to the Elite 8 in the State Tournament. I was awarded All-State First Team (only freshman to make the 1st team. I finished as the Top Freshman in Point per 32, while also finishing Top 10 in rebounds, blocks, charges taken as well as double doubles. I have a great attitude on and off the court. Grades are something that are important to me which is wise I chose an Honors High School, and I am a fantastic scholar while having a good understanding of the balance between school and basketball. I also did a lot of sport’s growing up, I did competitive gymnastics, swim, for a very long time. I love basketball and love getting better and I'm committed and work hard to make it big. I look forward to any opportunities and any chance to work hard.
