Anya Bobo '17 Recruiting Profile

Since I was eight years old, I knew basketball was something that was going to stick with me throughout my life. I developed a love and passion for the sport when I joined my first basketball team in the fifth grade. From there, all I did was learn new moves and practice. To me back then, practice made perfect. In middle school, I started opening up my mind to future goals, opportunities, and possible scholarships to play at the collegiate level. My goals and aspirations are simple; to play as a Point Guard on a college team. This is my motivation.

I am certain I am a best fit candidate for your team, because I can bring a difficult competition to the court every game. I am highly coachable and open to learning new things. I am a leader and I have won awards that others cry over, and dream of having. 

What makes me unique is my drive and determination to succeed in my basketball career. Other athletes want to be noticed for their skills and experience, I am different because I offer more than just skills and experience.
