Desirae Gonzalez '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Desirae Gonzalez and I am a senior at Kingman High School. Ever since I was young all I could dream about was playing college basketball.  In order to ensure that my long time dream would come true, I put myself out into the world with my foot on the gas. I never held back from volunteering for community service events nor did I ever shy away from the complicated tasks inside the classroom.  Growing up with both parents as basketball coaches was indeed rough at times, but it only helped in developing my strong work ethic and inclination to always put forth my best. No matter the situation I strive to have a positive attitude on and off the court, nonetheless I do have moments of weakness, but those moments are quickly overcome by the trust and friendship that I display within my teammates. It may not be tomorrow or next week, but I have full faith that one day my dream will be achieved and until that day I will continue to represent my family and career with the utmost dignity and honor.
