Hi my name is Justice Steenholdt, I am 17 years old, I was born in a small town called Roswell in New Mexico. I would really enjoy and appreciate it if I got offered a scholarship. Being offered a scholarship will help me to become a better and more mature person. As well as helping me major in the medical field and being able to save people's lives. I don't like seeing people suffer and be in pain. So I help them as much as i can to take and help them be relieved of that pain. This is why I would like to become an EMT/ Paramedic.
I will make a good candidate for your team because I'm committed and willing to do as much as I need to Improve and help those around me to improve. I also will be a leader and do what ever is expected of me during the practice's and the games, as well as off campus activities and event, and any thing else that I could be involved in. I work hard and will do what ever it takes. I also am a good student. I work hard in school and on the court. My mom has always told me to get good grades and keep up on my school work, and now i see why she told me. So that I would be prepared for a day like this when opportunities would be knocking at my door.
Well, I'm really not that different from everyone else. We are all looking for scholarships and are hoping that we are going to get one. But see I've worked and still am working really hard for me to be able to get scholarship's. I will do what ever it takes because I would be the second person in my family to go to college if I get a scholarship. I am a nice, bright, intelligent, well-fit, humble, kind, caring, and hard working young woman. I'm striding my future to be brighter then those of the past generations in my family. I have played sports ever since I was five. My cousin and I use to play everything together. First it was basketball, then soccer, then cheer, also gymnastics, and finally softball. All through out Junior High I played basketball I was a starter. Then I got to High School and I wasn't able to play because of some mistakes I made here at home. I really missed playing basketball. Watching all of the games made me wish that I was out there on that court playing. So I stepped my game up and got my act together, and we moved to the north side of Phoenix.
I started to go to school at Camelback High School. I started during the summer playing with the team, then it went to fall workouts, and finally to the Winter Season of Basketball. Our season went well. We were 9-10, I feel like we had a good season and improved a lot. I feel personally that I had improve majorly. My jump shot had improved, being able to control my speed improved, and being able to rely on those around me had improved greatly. I am doing really well on my academics. I got Honor roll at my school, and I continue to have A's and B's. I have now a 3.8 GPA, and I'm constantly finding opportunities to boost my GPA, even if it means extra credit, working harder, or even homework. I am committed to being able to complete and accomplish my long-term and short-term goals. I am ready for my future to be set fourth ahead of me, and to make my family proud.
