My name is Valiyah Yazzie, I am going to be a Senior at Sanders Valley High School. I started playing basketball when I was about 4. My family had mad love for the sport and that's were I got it from. I began to start playing in 10 and under tournaments when I was 5. I played my first women's tournament when I was 14. I would practice a lot with my family on shooting, dribbling and defense. The abilities I can do on the court is shoot, move without the ball, run, set up plays, and play tight defense. I love to win and I come out aggressive when it comes to playing basketball, also I am well coachable.
I want to continue my education in becoming a math teacher or become a sports trainer. I want to become a math teacher because I love math and I want to teach others how math works. I want to give something back to my community. I also want to become a sports trainer because I like to help people who are hurt, it just shows what kind of person you are and having that sportsmanship.
I just want to continue my education and play the sport I love, Basketball. I hope to hear from colleges and I am looking forward into playing basketball for you and help the team win.
