I would love to participate and compete in college athletics, basketball or softball.  I am a hard worker, focused and willing in whatever I am doing whether it is competing on the court or field, working with foster children, or helping my family.  A scholarship would help me reach my goal of becoming an early childhood teacher financially, my family fell into a financial hardship a few years ago when my Dad became ill with a nerve disorder in his back causing him to have to take a medical disability from his job of 37 years, and he is now on daily dialysis.  This circumstance has made it difficult for me to be seen by college coaches, but I am doing what I can to make this a possibility.  I have played basketball and softball since I was 5 years old on a team.  I really don't know any thing else, it is just what I love to do.  I have been blessed with natural athletic ability through quickness and height.  I hope you will consider me when looking for someone to make your team better.
