Karla Gutierrez '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karla Gutierrez. I will be a junior at Coleville High school (Coleville, California) in the Fall of 2018. I have had a passion for basketball ever since I was about 8 years old, I was not able to play at that age because my school only allowed 5th graders to play sports.  I joined the basketball team once I became a 5th grader.  Ever since 5th grade I have given a 110% at every practice I have attended. I am very coachable and I take advice from anyone because that way I will be able to become a better player.  Besides giving all of my effort at practice and in games, I encourage my teammates to do the same. I am a very competitive player that strongly dislikes losing which means that I will do anything I can to help my team win. I hope to find a school that will be able to offer me a good basketball career as well as a good education. I would like to major in Sports Medicine because I love sports and I would like to stay involved with sports through out my life. I hope that you take time to view my profile and contact me.
