EMILY MITCHELL '18 Recruiting Profile

As of March 18th, 2018, I am considering several competitive four-year universities and am in the process of taking some official visits. I am hard-working student-athlete, a team-first point guard, and an effective leader both on and off the court. (I have been a varsity captain since my sophomore year, in a school of approx. 3,800 students, and I recently became the school's first female athlete to score 1,000 points; additionally, I have over 500 career assists.)  In addition to being on track to be a class valedictorian,  during the 2016-2017 season I was a Player of Year,  West Valley League, our team went 26-4, I led the team in points, assists, steals, and 3-point shooting, and I was elected to the All-CIF, L.A. City Section (Open Div. and all Divisions--past two seasons. In college, I hope to make positive contributions to my team, university, and the community.
