Lily Alonso '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lily Sue Alonso. I take basketball very seriously and strive to achieve one of my main goals, getting a scholarship, to go to college and be successful in life. I look up to my mom, dad, and Kobe Bryant, because I’ve learned from them to never give up and strive for greatness no matter how hard the task is. I take school seriously and have very high standards for myself when it comes to my grades. My grades make up a part of me and represents how hard I work to strive for success . I am very fast and never give up hope in a game; I was also awarded MVP for the 2018-2019 Frosh/Soph season. I am also not afraid to make mistakes because if you don’t make mistakes you will never become a stronger and better athlete. I am a great listener and always open to take criticism on what I could improve on for basketball techniques. I play shooting guard, and also a backup  point guard. I am very aggressive and not afraid of getting physical contact. The three things that are important to me is 1, being able to go to college, 2, getting great grades, and 3, getting a basketball scholarship. I strive for greatness and will do whatever it takes to play in the next level.  If you choose me to be involve in your team you will not regret it; I will give you my all because basketball is more than a game to me it is my life.
