Pragya Sharma '24 Recruiting Profile

When I think of happiness, the first thing that comes to my mind is basketball. Ever since I‘ve laid my hands on a ball, it has been extremely difficult for me to let go. The passion and relationships I’ve developed playing in the past few years has made me realize the big inspiration basketball has been for me to keep pushing. Although not the tallest player on the team, I try my best put my skills at the best of my ability. Managing academics with being so dedicated to a sport has been challenging, but isn’t impossible with strong commitments. 

Being given the opportunity to play basketball even after coming from a third world country is extremely rewarding. I count these blessings everyday and make sure to put them on good use by continuing to play. With a beginning interest in Computer Science and Programming, I would love to continue to play basketball with any possibilities I am given in the near future.
