My name is Juanita Joseph and I am from Lone Pine, California. I attend Lone Pine High School, where I am now a senior. The past four years at Lone Pine High School I have played multiple sports including; basketball, volleyball, and softball. I am a proud member of Future Farmers of America ( FFA ) and am on the Beef Show Team. Out of everything I do, basketball holds the biggest spot in my heart and I have a feeling that will remain true for the rest of my life.
While I strive for success on and off of the court. Being a student athlete means academics are just as important as basketball. Currently I have a 3.7 GPA and am taking honor classes which have helped me get that extra push that I need.
I've had a love for basketball starting at a young age. Basketball has always been that outlet for me, it is a get away from reality, and it is something I can get better at everyday. I excel in leadership, hard work, dedication, and my favorite part of the game is defense. I stay after practice for about 40 minutes everyday. At this time I am working on getting my shot off faster and becoming a more accurate shooter. Playing at the collegiate level has been my goal since middle school basketball and everything I have worked for these past 4 years of high school has been to play at the college level.
