Mikayla Reyes '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Mikayla Reyes class of ‘27 and play the shooting guard position. I started playing basketball when I was around 11 years old and have been in love with the game ever since. My goal is to play at any college level that is going to give me great opportunities and push me to be my best. I‘m a good candidate because I am willing to be held accountable, criticized, and pushed. I have great attitude and energy on and off the court and can pick myself and other players up at any given time. I am a past first guard but I also have the ability to score offensively. Defense is one of my strengths that I take a lot of passion in because if you have good defense it turns over into offense. I have learned a lot of things going through my journey as a student athlete….academics come first, sacrifices that have to be made, work that has to be put in, and holding myself to a high standard. My parents play a huge part in my life and that’s why I am the person/player I am today. All throughout school I maintained a 4.0 and earned honor roll and many more awards, I’m hoping to do the same when I enter college wanting to major in business and management.
