Basketball has played a significant role in my life and it has been my dream to play basketball at a collegiate level. Being fortunate enough to live in California, I have had the opportunity to attend the Big West tournament, at the Honda center, with my dad every year we possibly could. I grew up watching college basketball and seeing athletes like Sabrina Ionescu, Ma’qhi Berry, Japreece Dean, and so many other talented women has inspired me to strive for excellence and reach that level of competitive basketball.
I enjoy the challenge of working on my craft, while maintaining a 4.0+ GPA. I am encouraged when I find a healthy balance between the most important things in my life. I have an immense amount of respect for my coaches, I listen to them for advice and remain coachable and ready to learn new things; constructive criticism inspires me to do better. I live for competition and overcoming challenges, I rise to the occasion and match the skill level of my competition. Knowing the sheer number of talented athletes competing to earn a spot and play at a collegiate level fuels my passion to improve my skill-set both physically and mentally.
