Madelene Ennis '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maddie Ennis, I have been a multi sport athlete most of my life. I am fortunate to have competed at some of the highest levels for Soccer (NPL ), Track and Field High School, and Crew( Rowing), lastly Basketball.  My heart is with Basketball. I am a leader on and off the court. I feel hard work is the catalyst to everything worth achieving. My coaches will tell you that I work hard, that I am passionate and always willing to learn. I apply that same work ethic in the classroom. I am fortunate to have felt the glory of winning and the resolve that comes with losing.  I have been a champion freshman year in Shot Put winning the WCAL and placing second in discus.  In soccer I played attacking mid field ( the "9") and Center Back Defender. For many years soccer taught me that the best teammate is one that sees the field and finds the best possible path to the goal, and that there is no room for selfish play.  I feel I carry that same attitude onto the court.  I am one of 7 children and the eldest of 5 younger siblings. I have a responsibility of being a positive roll model which is very important to me. I have a very supportive family and they are my biggest fans.

I was injured in the opener game 2018 Season- and lost most of my Junior Season,  so I was honored to received honorable mention.
