Carys Villani '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carys Villani and I am currently a Junior. I would love to keep pursuing basketball at the collegiate level while also focusing on my desired majors of Animal Science/ Pre Veterinary Medicine. I have always been passionate about animals and have nurtured this through my work and experiences with FFA.

I always am looking to get better and play at the next level for basketball. I am very tenacious and always willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals, especially regarding basketball. I have been playing basketball for several years, including starting on Varsity as a freshman, and playing AAU at West Coast Elite for their National team the last two years. Not only do I strive to work my hardest on the court, academics are always a top priority. I currently have a 4.22 GPA, and always work to keep it high. My experience with leadership positions like being FFA Chapter President have taught me to work hard and continue to push through adversity, that I hope will help me if I was to continue my goal of playing collegiate basketball.
