Isabella Thompson '19 Recruiting Profile

My college aspiration is to play basketball at the college level and graduate with a Business Degree. I honestly would like to play basketball wherever I am able to play.  I have outstanding dribbling skills, three-pointers, and can drive the hole. My three-point shooting ability is the best of any player that several of my coaches have ever seen. I don't only play basketball, I also play softball and I have participated in one season of cross country with my high school team.   I was chosen to play Allstars several times with my competitive softball team.   Also, I have very fast mile times the last three years. I have a strong work ethic, I work extremely well with my teammates and like to spend my free time playing basketball and working on my skills that the coaches have told me to concentrate on.  I have been awarded "Athlete of the Year" at my middle school and have made both my basketball and softball varsity teams as a freshman.  In my first year of high school, I received a 3.70 in my freshman year and currently have a 4.0. My GPA has always been a 3.25 and higher. I work very hard towards my grades and work hard to succeed. I find the harder I work, the more success I have. 

I am looking forward to the 2018-2019 season.  Last season, our high school team made it to the NCS playoffs for the first time in several years.  In my 2017-18 season, I am the leading point scorer in my high school girls varsity history entering my senior year.  I lead the team in scoring with a 17.5 average points per game, I was team captain, received the team MVP Award, and was selected to First Team All-League despite having three different Varsity coaches in the three years. I have updated my stats from the 2017-18 season and added three articles that were published in Bay Area Newspapers. I am also excited to play on my 2018 Cal Stars 16/17 Flight Team for the spring and summer months.  Please check out my page.
