Ellie Carter-Soriano '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ellie Carter-Soriano and at the end of my college career, I want to achieve a degree in finance/business, participate in basketball at the collegiate level, and be a part of the team experience. I have been on an organized team since 1st grade and have enjoyed many wonderful experiences on and off the court. I have made many lifelong friendships through basketball. I am looking for a University that will allow me to grow academically, personally, and socially, that includes my love for the game. I realize that these 4 years will be the last of me playing basketball and I want to make the most of it! In addition, I have had so many coaches impact my life in different ways, I love to give back to them and the youth through organized camps, private lessons, and refereeing youth leagues. I have been told by many coaches that I have a very high basketball IQ and I enjoy understanding the game and the strategy around it. Recently, I received the scholar-athlete award at the Rose Classic and I take pride in my grades and studying hours. Even though basketball is very important to me my academics are just as important!
