Antawna Spells '19 Recruiting Profile

Greeting & Humble Salutations,

I am Antawna Spells, a female Basketball player looking to further my basketball career in college. I started playing basketball in 10th grade and it was my first time every touching a basketball or playing organized basketball. The journey was long,  it not so much difficult. I knew basketball was a sport that I would fall in love with; not only did I fall in love with the sport, it also gave me something to live for. My profile says it all about my skills on and off the court, but here is a little about me. 

I am a good candidate for your team because I’m fearless and ambitious. I am the type of player to not fold under pressure, but too tackle that pressure head on during any circumstances. I accept all challenges that I am faced with and I defeat them.  Basketball is not just a sport for me, it teaches me life lesson in school and out of school  such as: you must work hard for everything and anything you want. I lead and I stand out in a crowd off people and on the court; I am not your average 5’3 Basketball player; when I play, I’ll convince you that I am really 5’8 or taller.
