My goals for college are simple- To be the best athlete and student that I can possibly be, in performance, in my positive attitude, my respect for authority, my personal integrity and accountability for my actions, my coachability, and above all, my willingness to learn.
I believe I am extremely coachable, in that I not only listen to my coaches, I always do my best to put their coaching immediately into action. If I'm not able to do what they're asking of me due to my inability to perform, I will work non-stop until I can perform what is asked of me.
I believe what sets me apart from other recruits is my willingness to learn, my work ethic both on and off the court, and my respect for my coaches. At our school's sports awards ceremony this year, my basketball coach called me "A coaches dream" due to my being coachable and applying what I was taught on the court.
In my first year of high school, I have applied myself and achieved a +4.0 GPA for the year, and will continue to apply myself in order to maintain this high academic level.
Thank you so much for your interest and consideration!
