Imauni Fitzgerald '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Imauni Fitzgerald, I've played, and wanted to play  basketball ever since I was in Elementary. I've always worked hard playing on the court no matter what conditions I am in. When I was little I had a small hole in my heart, and doctors told me I would never be like the other kids. Now I am 15 years old, walking, talking, and playing basketball like other kids. I don't let my young conditions affect what I am doing, and what I want to do now. I want to play for any college, and be able to get my education from any good college. I am a team leader, and I've always been one,. I love helping my teammates, and pushing them harder when they want to give up and quit, or if their just not trying their best at something. My collegiate goal is to be an amazing basketball player, to be able to play hard on a court for my team, my coach, and my family. I want to be able to play for the WNBA .What makes me a good candidate for the team is that I see my parents struggle everyday, and I put all my struggles on the court, when I play, I ball hard for me and for them. I am very eager to play on someone's basketball team, to be able to say "Wow I actually made it this far". What makes me different is that I am a very hard worker, whatever I want I work hard, and strive hard to get it. I don't take no for an answer, I am a very fast learner, easy to teach, and I take everything into consideration. Ever since elementary I've always had all A's and B's, and I've always had a 4.0 or higher gpa, I've always loved learning.
