Carolyn O'Lear '26 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing basketball since I was little, but didn't take it seriously until middle school when a coach noticed something in my game; I switched teams and began working with him, and really began my evolution as a player. I played two summers of travel AAU ball, then proudly made the Varisity basketball team as a freshman. I continue to work with a skills coach on my own time, and she has helped improve my ball handling, footwork and my left hand. I am versatile and can play just about anywhere you need me, I am coachable, and I am a leader on and off the court. My future plans include wanting to coach and develop players myself, so I know that playing at a high level will help me achieve those goals.
