Jasmine Stone '14 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a distinguished college and to play basketball for a competitive basketball program.  I'm very self-driven.  I've always taken gifted & AP curriculum while playing multiple sports.  I run cross country & track to stay conditioned for basketball and have made it to State in all 3 sports.  I'm constantly in the gym working to improve my skills. I'm quick off of the dribble and I have a quick release.  I'm excited to finish my senior year so that I can move up and compete at the next level.  Basketball is my passion and I want to find a team where I can make an impact. My team is my 2nd family and I'm looking for a good fit.  I'm a Christian and I act accordingly. I'm easy to coach and more eager to learn.  As a Junior, I led my team to State for the 1st time in over 30 years and to the Sweet 16 for the 1st time ever.  I was the lead scorer in the county & 4th in State 5A, averaging 19.3 PPG.  I was selected as " County Player of the Year."  I earned All-Area, All-Region & All-County First Teams & All-State HM.  My senior season, I was my school's 1st All-American nominee.  I led my team to State for the 2nd consecutive year and led State 5A in scoring.  I scored 599 points, averaging 22.2 PPG, eighty-one 3's and 1,561 HS career points. I earned All-State Second Team; All-Area, All-Region & All-County First Teams and All-County Player of the year for the 2nd straight year.  I was 1 of 26 players in the State of GA selected to participate in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) North-South All-Star Senior Showcase.  I'm a competitor and I'm ready to compete at the collegiate level.
