“You don’t know what’s behind the door if you never open it”

My name is Chassidy King I have played basketball since I was 5 years old.  This sport has given me so many opportunities and experiences, and I don‘t want them to end now. I am interested in finding a program where there is discipline, accountability, respect, and where people do not get to pick and choose when they want to be a part of the team. I have struggled so far through my college athletic career due to injuries freshman year and a poorly coach who was degrading my sophomore year. I am ready for something new. I am looking for a coach who does not give up on their players when we are down, a coach who cares about their players as individuals not just athletes, and a coach who respects the time and effort these players put into the sport.

I am very hard working, diligent, and fun loving individual. I do a very well job at balancing athletics with academics. I use basketball as my motivation for academics because you can’t play with poor grades, with that being said, basketball Is what pushes me to do well in school.

Although I am not the tallest post, I have found several ways to work with my size I am very consistent with my post moves, I am quick to get steals especially when the ball is brought down, and I play a lot bigger than I truly am.
