Alexus Parker '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a young girl, who has many dreams. Basketball is one of my top dreams. I started playing basketball when I entered into my first year of middle school. I was just beginning, so I didn't really grasp onto the concept fast. :) My brother encouraged me to continue to workl harder and harder everytime I was on the court and off on my free time. He always was there for me when I needed guidance. It took me long days and night, but improvement was showing. I soon became to LOVE the game of basketball. As of now, I am a Junior in high school, looking forward to playing on the next level. It's actually one of my DREAMS to play on a Division 1 team. I want to be that freshman who makes a difference to the team. I want to be that teammate who makes MY teammates better. I also want to be that player that makes my coach PROUD! Outside of basketball, I want to make a difference in other peoples' lives. I want to one day be able to put my family in a better situation then they already are in. I want to give my PARENTS the absolute world! Their dream is for me to play basketball on the collegiate level, which I am working towards. I plan on majoring in Pre-Law. This is something I've always wanted to do since I've entered high school. Not only does this career interests me in my needs, but I could possibly change someone elses life as well. That's what I live for, to make differences in other peoples' lives. I must do everything through God. This is my life plan. :)
