Hello! My name is Lindsay Moore and I am a junior at Stephens County High School in Toccoa, Georgia where I play shooting guard and some point guard for our varsity team. While I’m not your average sized shooting guard at only 5’3” I definitely make up for the lack of height with my basketball IQ. I pride myself in being a coachable player and being a constant student of the game.
I also play for an AAU travel team, Top Tier Team Tiff Johnson out of Atlanta. I made the decision to “play up” on a 17U team with rising seniors. It has helped to push me to continue to get better.
I am looking to find the right college for me both athletically and academically. I had planned originally to go into nursing but as I’ve learned more about other medical careers I have now decided to become an anesthesiologist. I understand the level of commitment that will come from balancing a college education and playing collegiate basketball. I believe that I am mature enough to handle both.
I am always judged by my size and quiet demeanor. But as the old saying goes “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. I would love to have the opportunity to showcase my talents to the right school.
