Shara Galvin '25 Recruiting Profile

I have played softball and basketball for as long as I can remember. From the age of 6 at least. The love of sports and competitiveness run in my family. I think I truly fell in love with basketball in 7th grade, the first year we could play for our school. I made the A team both my 7th and 8th grade years in middle school. I was a lot more nervous and shy back then. With the support of my family, teammates and coaches, I have overcome my fear on the court and have worked hard to become a better teammate, athlete, leader and worked hard to be extremely coachable. I would love to join a program that I can contribute my talent, drive and dedication to. Although I haven't locked down what I want to study in college yet, I intend to put forth all the effort and hard work academically that I have put into my high school career so far and continue into any area of study I end up choosing at the next level. I look forward to finding my place inside a program that is the right fit both for myself and the team! Thank you for your consideration!
