Gyah Capers '26 Recruiting Profile

I first played basketball in 8th grade and I’ve loved it since. I haven’t been playing as long as most nor do I have many achievements but my passion and work ethic has made me into the athlete I am today. My goal is to play Division 1 basketball. I want to play at a high level and I believe I can make that happen. I love to be in the gym and the weight room improving myself. Academically, I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I made Iowa All Academic Conference my freshman year. As a player, I am passionate about doing my part within team. I push myself to give all my effort and have a good attitude whenever I step onto the court. I stand out from others because I have the competitive mindset to continue to learn new things, adapt to challenging situations, and will push myself to do better on and off the court.
