My main goal in college is to get a great education that will support me on my desired career path to be a physician's assistant. I want to focus on sports injuries because I understand the frustration of having to sit out and wanting to get back in the game. Injuries affect you mentally and physically, and I have worked with some amazing physical therapists and assistants who have made me realize the impact I could have on getting athletes strong again! It would be a dream come true if I could be a part of a basketball team at the college level. I am confident that my outgoing personality and strong leadership skills would be an asset to any team and have a positive impact on the program. I am very passionate about everything I do and I am a fierce competitor in games and during practice. There are two main things that really set me apart from other players: I truly focus on helping others make the play rather than padding my own statistics and I am as loud on the bench as I am on the court! As a point guard, it's my job to lead the team, but I take it a step further and understand that team dynamics and energy are important in all aspects on and off the court. My academics have always been my top priority and I always strive to get A's in all of my classes during the school year. Since I have been playing basketball for so long I have developed good time management skills that help me to be successful on the court and in the classroom. Also, I have been told I am a coachable athlete and I consistently seek feedback to improve my game. Because I am good at building relationships, my teammates can confide in me and look to me to be a leader for them. I love playing basketball more than anything in the world and I know that I could adapt and excel in any program that has confidence in me.
