I'm entering my sixth year of competitive basketball. While I played other sports early on in my life, I have decided to now focus my entire energy on the game I love, basketball.
To that end, I have attended numerous camps and skills courses the last five years. In that time span, I've also trained 3-4 times a week with coaches Chris Kostouros, Greg Ktistou and Amir Ransom to improve and refine my skills and will continue to do so indefinitely. Additionally, I do fitness training twice a week. There is no substitute for hard work and I'm a firm believer that what you put in is what you get out.
I played AAU basketball for the Munster Mustangs (3 years), Northwest Indiana Tradition (8th grade travel team), and Illinois Defenders (16u). I will be playing for City Elite 16u (Michigan City, IN) this upcoming 2023 season.
My goal is to one day play college basketball at the most competitive level possible.
I am an ultimate team player and teammate and believe there is no "I" in team. Whichever school successfully recruits me will be getting a very hard worker whose primary focus is doing whatever necessary to help the team win.
I enjoy shooting the basketball (especially from three point territory) and passing, but am also working very hard to improve my defense, ballhandling and finishing skills so that I can become a more complete player. My basketball prototypes are Sabrina Ionescu, Paige Beckers and Isaiah Thomas.
My interests outside of basketball include cooking/baking, camping, hiking, rafting, archery, canoeing, music and hanging out with the besties-my group of five friends that are all basketball players as well. I am also very involved with my church and among other things have helped feed the homeless, worked at our summer fest, and volunteered at the yearly bake sale.
In eighth grade I made the B Honor Roll at Wilbur Wright Middle School. I also was part of a team that qualified for and represented Wilbur Wright Middle School at the We the People state finals in Indianapolis, Indiana on the topic of The Bill of Rights. Academics are very high on the list of my priorities in selecting a college or university, as I plan on pursuing a career in Psychology or Law. I currently have a 3.6 gpa.
