Morgan White '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Morgan White.   I am a shooting guard/point guard for the class of 2024.  I have exceptional court vision, a team-first attitude,  and I LOVE to pass the basketball to set up my teammates with on time and on target passes, making me the assist leader every time I take the court.   I am a consistent high-percentage shooter from the three-point and the free throw line.  I can also penetrate gaps and make reads, pressuring the defense, attacking the rim, drawing fouls, and creating offensive rebounding opportunities.  I make defense a priority and try to set the tone for my team for how hard we play with my level of intensity.  I have a high basketball IQ and quickly transfer concepts from practices and timeouts onto the court, while also reading situations and making adjustments on the fly when needed.  My effective communication skills allow me to relate calls and changes so I am predictable to my teammates but deceptive to my opponents.  My leadership  style on the court reflects my competitive toughness, "get-the-job-done" attitude, and team goals over personal stats mindset. 

Finally, I am an excellent and hard-working student with high academic and career goals.  I plan to major in Environmental Science and eventually matriculate to law school with the hopes of becoming an environmental lawyer.  I am looking for the best college program to utilize and further develop my basketball skills and to achieve my academic goals.
