Shaniah Daniels '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shaniah Daniels, and I would like to introduce myself as an athlete who sees myself working up to be a professional basketball player in the future. I love working on myself and getting better at the sport I love. My goal is to keep my grades up finishing middle school and through high school and working up to the point where I can make it to places I am looking forward up to. I love to spread my confidence and making things fun through the game I am playing. The game is about your energy, confidence, having fun, and keeping your attitude up. I have been working on those things since I have been building up in since I started basketball. How I would make a good candidate for the team is having strong communication and opening up, good collaboration, active listening, and problem solving skills on and off the court. Things that make me different from other recruits in characters, athletics, and academics is that I try to point out the good highlights of me and build other people courage's up so they can get better at the sport they love. I also like to focus on what I am doing when I am off the court like school, or outside of games or practices whether it's training or shooting by myself.
