Shawntae Kidd '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to find a college that’s perfect for me. By perfect I mean meeting my academic needs and my athletic desire. I wish to study Psychology  but have a plan b of studying Pre-Law as well. So far I have considered UConn as my number 1 college I would love to attend. The colleges that I have also taken into consideration would be Campbell University,Cal Berkley, UCLA, and even Texas A&M My number one aspiration is to get a scholarship to one of these colleges and continue my dream of playing basketball in high hopes of getting drafted to the WNBA. What makes me a good candidate for any team would be my willingness to strive to be the best I can. By doing this I display characteristics such as being coachable, putting in 110% in everything I do including my grades. I make sure that before anything my grades are where they need to be because I know that in order to accomplish my dreams of playing professional basketball I need to start with having good grades.
