Maddison Cronkite '26 Recruiting Profile

I was raised in a family who have all played basketball, so I know and love the game of basketball very well. I love being in the gym and working hard to become a better player and I always tell people that basketball is free therapy for me. I have been 4 year varsity on Class A North team and voted Captain my sophomore year. I am a leader, a great teammate and a true student of the game. I am always trying to learn how to get better.  I have played both soccer and basketball since I was very young and  being part of a team has always been a big part of my life.  School is a priority to me and I am looking for a college that will fulfil my degree requirements and get a great education, but to be able to play basketball is a bonus. 

I am interested in majoring in Physical Therapy and minor in Sports Management. I would love to find a school that offers these options where I know my school and grades are first priority and I can still pursue my passion of playing basketball and being part of a team. I am a great teammate, always trying to unite everyone on the team, communicate all the time on the floor and making sure everyone shines on the floor and not just myself. I am always reliable and always ready to compete I believe that was why I was voted captain of the Varsity team as a Sophomore. I made Varsity Freshman year, was voted All conference - All Rookie my freshman year and All Conference - HM my sophomore year. I ranked 3rd in our conference for 3pt%, 4th in assists and 6th in FT%. I am truly looking forward to this journey.
