Personal Statement

Hello, My name is Crystal Njoku and I am 14 in the 9th grade at Lansdowne High School. I am from Nigeria, Africa but born and raised here in America. I am the only girl of 3 older brothers all in universities. I play varsity basketball and one of the starting 5. I average about 10 points per game, and my highest scoring game was 18 points. My team is well equpied but we havent really been doing our best in these games. I really focus on my own game, and how i play. So that is the most important aspect. The thing that i lack in is boxing out, and my coach really tries to get me fond of that. I used to also lack in shooting but i am getting better with time. I am one of the fastest people on my team, even tho i am a foward. I am 5'8 and 135 lbs. In college i look foward to playing basketball, and volleyball. I want a college that isnt too big but full in differnt types of people. To me honestly it doesnt really matter wether its a D1 or D3 school , just as long as i receive my full learning experience, and playing time.  I am a funny, and friendly person, so I look foward into making new friends. I am Roman Catholic. The major I would like to get into is biology because, I look foward into being a pediatrician, and biology is the basic major. My magent now in high school is Health & Human Services, but im doing Biomedical Science in that magnet. My best subjects in school are Science, Math, and English. My current GPA is a 3.2 but im looking foward to raise it a little higher.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
