Brya Freeland '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brya Freeland, many call me Scrappy, and I will be a 2011 graduate at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, MD. I carry a 4.2 GPA average as a junior honors and AP student. I started playing the sport of basketball in 7th grade. My preference is to attend a university, that not only has an excellent basketball program, but also challenge me academically as a student-athlete. I am planning to pursue a major in Business and Sports Management with a minor in Software Engineering/Computer Science and Finance. With a high basketball IQ, I am a leader on and off the court, and I have a positive attitude. Once I commit to a goal I never stop pushing myself or lose focus until I reach that goal. Like my coach always tells me "Your only as good as the work you put in."
