Kaitlyn Woolsey '16 Recruiting Profile

Basketball is the one thing that no matter what's happening in my life, it's always made sense to me. I've dedicated my life to the game and love continuing to learn about it. Basketball gives me a sense of sanity that I cannot get anywhere else. The second I step onto the court, it's the only thing I'm focused on. I leave everything I have out on the floor everyday whether it's a game or practice. I've learned the correct way to be a leader and how to encourage teammates to be willing to improve and have a championship mindset. I believe in leading by example; I am conscious of how I act and I treat my teammates in a way that will help them perform best. I think of a basketball team as a second family, and I love the bond that's made between teammates and coaches. I cannot wait to continue my basketball career, while continuing to enhance my education throughout the next four years.
