Ella Bontrager '18 Recruiting Profile

    Winning a district title my freshman year and going to class A regional finals this year has been an amazing experience.  With two more years of my high school career left, my goal is to win a state championship.  Being a team captain and first team all league player for my freshman and sophomore years has taught me a great deal about being a true teammate.  As a point guard, I played with exceptional talent with four of our five seniors moving on to compete athletically in college.  Having the opportunity to play with an excellent team helped me learn how to win big games and has also developed me into a team leader. 

    I am looking for a great fit athletically and also academically.  I am extremely serious about my college experience.  I'm interested in the field of education whether it be speech pathology or special education.  I believe I posses the characteristics and talent to be a part of a college basketball team.  My positive energy and work ethic could make an impact in your program.  As a two-sport varsity athlete and team captain, I know that I could play a key role on your team.
