Stacey James '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hannah James, and I got the privilege to get moved up for Varsity basketball as a Freshman. I take my academics very seriously, and have a 4.0 GPA.  All of my teachers love to have me in their classroom because of my personality and work ethic. One of my goals since 7th grade was to play college basketball, if I get the opportunity. I get told from a lot of different coaches that I stick out on the court with my leadership skills, and my sportsmanship.  My job on the court is defense and to make my outside shots. 

I started to play basketball in 5th grade. I wasn't sure if basketball would be my sport, but i started averaging 12 points per game. In 7th and 8th grade I played both school ball and AAU for the Tri-City Nets out of Saginaw Michigan. During the summer before my Freshman year, the varsity coach had asked me to play summer ball with the team. I got really close with all the girls and we did super good as a team!
