Sara English '20 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has always been an important part of my life.  My grandfather was a state champion high school girls basketball coach, and my father and aunt are both high school level coaches.  I am a hard working athlete.  When my coach sets goals for the off-season, I work hard to make sure that I do more than anyone else.  In seventh grade I shot 50,000 shots during the summer as part of a contest.  It was in this experience that I realized my competitive drive and how hard I was willing to work to accomplish my goals.      

I also work hard in school.  I try to take the most rigorous courses offered and have been able to maintain a 3.93 grade point.  I know many kids do well in school and are gifted athletes.  I believe that my sense of personal discipline, responsibility and competitive drive help to set me apart.
