2023 Summer Highl...
2023 Highlights I am Tamia Taylor and I am in the class of 2024 at Heritage High School in Saginaw, MI. I am currently taking medical career classes at Saginaw Career Complex. I am unsure in what I would like to major in at this time. I am looking for a college that provides life opportunities to my future career as well as the variety that I bring to the college an to my basketball teammates.
My loyalty and commitment are strong to the sport and to my team. I have a unique ability for leadership and I can follow leadership when instructed. I am coachable and teachable and I bring drive to the team. I am self-less when it comes to ball control. I like to motivate and encourage my teammates to keep pushing when down and fight hard when winning.
Basketball is my passion other than my faith and family. I grew up playing basketball with brothers that we're over 6'2 to 6'9. So I had to grind hard and when faced with oppositions this forced me to find a way over, around, or through it. I am not a quitter. I've been playing basketball for about 10 years. Each year played made me enjoy the sport even more as I enhanced my skills. These growing years in basketball allowed me to play as a shooting guard on Varsity for Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy as a freshman.
Along with exercising my athletic abilities, I'm looking for a college setting that will sharpen and enhance my personal life. Whatever path I choose I would like to look back and realize my choice of college had a vital impact on my future. As a team player, I would also like to have made an impact on the lives of others especially my teammates and coaches.
