David Lewis '25 Recruiting Profile

 I come from a family of college graduates. My father has a Bachelor's and Master's degree and my mother is currently finishing up her PhD. Education is very important to me and has been since I've been at school which is why I've maintained straight A's since the second grade.

I love basketball and put so much time into it because I want to be the best.   I respect all my coaches and understand the  time and effort  they put into putting together a good program.   Although I feel as I have a very solid offensive game whether it's off the dribble or jump shooting, my favorite part of basketball is defense. I enjoy the challenge of locking down the best player on the other team, I'm not afraid of getting in the paint, rebounding and hustling.   I believe what makes me stand out from other players is the fact that I come to practice and games ready to compete. I leave my personal issues off the court and give 100% on the court. I'm very coachable, I listen, and never afraid of the big moment.
