My high school career has been nothing short of amazing so far. I am a three sport athlete and am involved in as much as I can but my true passion is basketball. From barely making the varsity roster as a freshman to helping lead our varsity team to a state championship a year later as a sophomore and again as a junior. As an incoming senior I've realized how much these past few years have taught me so much about growing as player, student and leader. Our team placed 2nd in the 2019 state final and we finished as co-champions in the 2020 state tournament due to our championship game being canceled because of COVID-19. These outcomes of not completely reaching our goal of being state champions have given me so much motivation to put in the work to be better for my team and will hopefully help me reach my goal of playing at the college level. I've been so fortunate to be part of a program where the right mindset and ideas are taught and that has been so important in helping me grow as a person. Already I've learned the value of teamwork, commitment and what it takes to be part of a successful team. As I start to think about my future I'm looking for a school that will fit me both athletically and academically. I believe that I have the talent, work ethic and leadership skills to play at a college level. Playing three sports has taught me more than I can imagine about being a competitor and leader and I know I can bring that to a college team!
