Ayla Janzen '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level. As a point guard, leadership is one of the most important qualities for me to have, on and off the court. My team looks up to me as a leader and an energy giver, and I want to bring this personality to wherever I go. I am a hard worker and dedicated player on the court, and am passionate about the sport, but my hard work does not stop on the court. I am a three sport athlete, participating in volleyball and track and field as well. I received a first team all state award for volleyball this year, and placed in both relays at the state meet for the 2022 track and field season. As far as academics goes, I had a 4.0 for my first two years of high school, and am maintaining a 4.0+ this year. I scored a 31 on my pre-ACT and will be taking the ACT in March. Overall, I want to bring my leadership, energy, and dedication to whatever school I decide to go to, as well as receiving a good education to create a fulfilling and purposeful life.
