Dedication, no doubt do I have that, passion, no doubt do I have that either for the game of basketball in which I deeply love. From the first time I picked up a basketball at age five I knew instantly I wanted more than just community pick-up games at the park. At age eleven I knew I wanted more than just local tournaments every other weekend. I know my love for the game is eternal, but my ability of playing competitively will eventually end. Knowing that basketball unfortunately wont always be there, I push myself even harder in my education. I challenge myself daily physically and mentally on and off the court, that is why I maintain such a high G.P.A., and at the end of the day I am a student athlete. Student being first and athlete being second. I am a competitor, I want to score a higher grade than the top student in my class and I always want to let the top athletes know I'm not far behind, let them know there isn't a big gap between us. My personality off the court is so much different when I'm on the court. Off the court I'm very social and tend to tell jokes and goof around, but on the court I zone all people in the stands and let them be fans, I stay focus. I always tell myself to play "every game like its my last", and the way I play in a game is nothing compared to how hard I train, you always have to work harder in practice. In my personal opinion, I know I can handle the difficult classes, the overnight studying, and I also know I can compete at the highest level of Women's college basketball.
