Silvia Victoria Garcia '23 Recruiting Profile

Honor, Pride and a commitment to excellence is my DNA.  I am 3rd generation player at Bishop Gorman HS as my grandmother and father both attended.  Our School Mascot is GAELS, which stands for God, Accountability, Excellence, Leadership and Stewardship.  I take Honor and Pride in representing this as my schools Creed, a way of life that will guide me to be a successful person in our world soon to come.  My Brother is currently in Massachusetts playing college basketball.  My Father was a player for Don Haskins at UTEP and then played 19 years as a PRO.  More than anyone from Bishop Gorman or UTEP.  My mother also played basketball in college and I want to continue the legacy in my family.  Additionally brother plays for the National Team of Cyprus (EU) for the past 6 years and my father played on the team for 12 years, and with hard work, smart and proper training I will one day play for them as well.  

My academic goals are to graduate from College with honors and then pursue a Masters degree.  Both my parents graduated college and I will too.
