LaNesha Terrance '13 Recruiting Profile

I am La’Nesha Terrance my teammates call me neesh, nesha, or big nasty.  I first started playing basketball in 8th grade I have come a long way and gotten much better each year passing  up a lot of people that have been playing longer than me . I love the game! I love to score, I have been a scorer ever since I’ve been playing, I have learned how to use my body and place the ball in certain positions but still focus on the tip of the square, I am not afraid to compete, I believe that competition makes you a better basketball player so I’m never afraid to battle in the paint. I am a player my team looks up to when we have big games and play against good teams, I am the player that starts the team off with scoring and can do great things in the post my team really depends on me for rebounding, drawing  fouls , and scoring! I can offer a team leadership and encouragement.  I am that girl that keeps everyone laughing   but knows when to be serious i am the player that brings lots of humor to the team. I love being a post player and being able to make plays for myself and my teammates. I also love shooting in the paint I have been working on my corner shot so I am able to play outside. In middle school I received and award for most inspirational player,  in my high school level  I have received  offensive player of the year , all tournament player for my position, I’ve been on the front pages of newspapers, and got 2nd team all conference I’ve come a long way and would love to play on a college level!!  My goals are to be a great player in college and to make new friends including getting to know the team, I want to encourage them throughout the season. I want to have fun and love the school I go to I want to major in criminal justice or nursing.  My dream is to play on a college level for basketball.
