Hi my name is Chloe Galvin, and I am a 5'3 105 lb small forward. I started my basketball career in 6th grade. In 7th grade I was on the JV basketball team, on the second string. While I was playing on my school team, I also was playing on another team. I also have played aau. I knew this sport was for me when one summer I picked up a basketball and just started shooting around at my house. I knew that it wasn't just a leisure activity for me, something to just do in my free time, I really was invested in it and wanted to proceed to the next level. Being on a basketball team is one of the best things that I have experienced. My teammates are there for me on and off the court. and in playing the game I have learned what it means to be a good teammate and how to work with people. As much as basketball means to me, I put my academics before everything else. It is important to me that I keep my grades up, so that I can continue to play the sport that I love. Basketball comes easy to me, and therefore I am a natural at it. I love to watch the NBA, and my favorite team is the Warriors. My favorite player is Stephen Curry, and many people have told me that they can relate my style of playing to his. I plan to continue playing basketball through college and beyond.
